Napier Outdoors

I used this tent for the first time last weekend. I got to the top of the mountain about half an hour before sunset, so by the time I got situated and unloaded all of my gear out of the back of the truck I was setting up the tent alone at dusk. In spite of the windy conditions, it went up fairly quickly. The hardest part of the process was putting the rainfly back on with strong winds after I had put on backwards the first time! It is surprisingly roomy inside. It held up to the very windy conditions with no issues. I also used a truck bed air mattress which made it very comfortable for sleeping. I highly recommend this tent. It’s well made and easy to put up. I look forward to getting years of use out of it. I’m sure it will be a quicker setup on the next outing. I highly recommend this tent!

Ordered my truck tent before heading 16 hours to the Colorado continental divide on an elk hunt. Received my tent 2 days before leaving. Put it in the truck and took off. Never even took out of the box. Unboxed and installed in 15 minutes on the mountain. Fit perfect.👍

The Napier Lite Pack has treated us well on our front-country camping adventures. Some of the features that we appreciate:
1) The Footprint - a layer between the ground and the tent to protect from wear and tear. Easily detaches via clips for cleaning. 2) Storm flaps - not all tents have this feature. 3) Windows & Doors made with No-Se-Um mesh. Protects from small insects while still allowing good ventilation and visibility. It also provides some privacy during the daytime from the exterior view. 4) Big Ceiling Windows for that beautiful view on a clear, summer night. 5) Materials for Tent Poles are made with mesh for quick drying. 6) Rainfly easily clips on and off. However, I do wish the rainfly by the doors were a bit longer/bigger giving more space for entry and exit. Lastly, 7) Two fluffy and warm sleeping bags.

I just received and tried out my Santa Cruz truck tent in Northern Michigan and it worked out very well. The fit is very clean and the design maximizes space. Construction is high quality and put-up/ take-down are easy (~15 minutes once you've done it a couple of times). The tent comes in zippered bag that fits perfectly under the back seat.

Napier Outdoors is beyond excellent. Their customer service is outstanding and second to none. We love our tent and the adventures we can go on!

Not just for pickups. I bought the long bed size and it occupies the entire trailer bed. Now I can set up camp and go explore with my rig. Plus carry lots of gear.

We adventure in a ‘95 Ford F150 with a basic camper shell and needed extra space when we got a second dog. This tent has been PERFECT for our need. Although we don’t have the truck bed tent to connect to, it still works great and fits perfectly off the back of the camper to give us extended space. As long as we’re on semi even ground, we can easily connect it to the truck camper with a rope and it will stay in place the entire time.
For the price point, we have been very satisfied with this product. Quality material, easy setup, plenty of space, and has kept us dry in a few rain storms. Definitely recommend!

Tent fits great in the back of the 2022 ranger. Fit over my rollup tonneau cover. Setup took around 10 15 minutes. Lots of room for me and the wife. Glad we got the link, gives so much more room for our gear without have to store any in the truck cab. The link is big enough for a small folding table and a cot as well. Took about the same amount of time to setup the link as well.

I highly recommend this tent I’ve had such a great time camping again even though it’s cold here in Nebraska in December I use my heat fan to keep warm. I also got some friends buying there’s this spring and do some traveling together as well.

Easy set up. Fits my Canyon (6’2 bed) perfectly. Lots of room.

I just purchased a Napier Backroadz compact to use with my 2022 Rivian R1T. Before purchasing I couldn’t find a single example of anyone trying this on a Rivian. The bed length on the Rivian is not quite 5 foot long but the tailgate articulates allowing for a longer than normal extended length. This works out great and allows this product to fit really well. The front corners can be run inside the gear tunnel and to each other which makes for a nice tight fit. The tent was easy to set up and seems like it is going to work really well.

Just used my new truck tent this weekend. Wasn’t expecting 20 mph wind. Held up amazing and kept us nice and warm. Must say the backroadz truck tent is truly awesome. 5 stars

Added save you didn’t know you needed! Used to have to roll around on air mattress to get dressed, stash things down along the side of the bed. Now we can set down out of the truck bed into this added space!! Gonna need one area for these tent poles, they are long. We feel it should have awning like truck tent. Easy up and take down!

We have been camping the the truck for several years now, and the complaint was always having no place to change clothes and store totes. This add-on tent was a game changer. Two weeks to the Grand Canyon, Zion, Tetons, Badlands, and what a great time. We put a tarp under the tent to keep the dirt/sand off for ease of storage. HIGHLY recommend
