Yes! The Sportz Link is compatible with both Sportz and Backroadz Truck Tents

Our tents already have a water-resistant coating on them. However, the coating may wear down over time and you may want to spray a water repellent coating onto the tent and rainfly after a few years of use.

A seam sealer is not necessary. Our rainflies and truck tent floors have taped seams to guard against water entry. For additional protection and product maintenance, you may wish to use a seam sealant on your tent. Please note that water drops through the needle holes along the seams is common with all tents and is not a manufacturer’s defect.

Spacious, good addition to Truck Tent

This is my third truck tent/Sportz link combo to purchase and all the previous ones worked great. I would give this more stars but on the very first setup the rain fly bungee cord attachment point ripped the seam away from the rain fly with very minimal stretch to the cord. I’ll have to make a repair before using again. After checking my other Sportz Links I noticed similar signs of the edge seam ripping away from the rain fly material. This area needs to be reinforced.

Great product. Fits perfectly

Nice accessory attachment tent to the truck bed tent. Easy to put up and take down. Both fit nicely back into their respective bags. Thought it was quite roomy and it kept our gear nice and dry. I've always have always tented it, my wife not so much so she was skeptical and wanted a travel trailer. But after our trip to Jasper, AB she really likes it as an attachment to our truck tent. Now she is planning trips everywhere.
There are obvious pros & cons of tenting vs travel trailers. Our friends and neighbors all have travel trailers that constantly fall apart or something leaks or doesn't work and about having to repair them at great cost from the dealership or the lack of availability of camping spots. And the price of fuel to haul them. We find camping spots with no problem and I still get great gas mileage. And if it got really nasty outside, heck we can easily splurge for a nice hotel with a pool and hottub with a view. Cheers and have fun!

loved it . great sleep. lots of room.

Product worked great in moderate wind and light rain. Easy to assemble and disassemble, and worked great with the truck tent. Minus one star because a grommet broke off the first time we assembled. Good buy!
