Yes. One person is able to set up a Maverick Truck Tent, however we do recommend having assistance during the first set-up. The first set-up should take approximately 15 minutes and about 10 minutes each time thereafter. Each tent comes with set-up instructions and color-coded poles for easy assembly.

No. Driving with the tent mounted to your vehicle may cause personal injury and/or damage to your tent and truck.

Our tents already have a water-resistant coating on them. However, the coating may wear down over time and you may want to spray a water repellent coating onto the tent and rainfly after a few years of use. For additional protection and product maintenance, you may wish to use a seam sealant on your tent.

There is a one-year manufacturer defect warranty.  Please consult the Warranty section on the website.

Just received the tent. No set up directions, but was simple enough to put on the Santa Cruz. I have a custom rack and I will need to make a bug screen to fill between the rack and the truck. Looks good, looking forward to using it in the field.

Works as designed. I have the air mattress too. Amazing setup. The hood instructions I moved the clip to the square hole under hood and kept loose till I shut my hood.

I’ve taken this tent out for three trips and I love it. Getting off the ground makes for a much better nights sleep. I really like that the inside of the bed is open, because it allows me to use the flex bed anchors to clip things up, as well as use my built in lights. It doesn’t have enough clearance to stand, but I can sit up and stretch no problem. It doesn’t feel small inside. The only thing I wish it had was more ventilation. Some zippered windows on the sides would do wonders for airflow, but I feel like an addition like that would make this tent much more expensive. I keep a battery powered fan handy, and appreciate what a bargain this thing is. Overall I really like the design, and it’s given me yet another reason to love my truck. I look forward to many more trips with this tent.
