Begin by measuring the bed of your truck with the tailgate closed. Our sizing guides will help you determine which tent is compatible with your truck. Our website also displays a sizing chart for your convenience.
Yes. The tent will work with a sprayed, mat, or prefabricated liner.
No. Truck Tents will not work as long as the camper shell/cap is assembled. Napier SUV Tents are the best option as long as the height from the ground to the highest point of the cap window/door does not exceed 80”.
Yes. One person is able to set up a Napier Truck Tent, however we do recommend having assistance during the first set-up. The first set-up should take approximately 15 minutes and about 10 minutes each time thereafter. Each tent comes with set-up instructions and color-coded poles for easy assembly.
Our truck tents will fit over Roll-Up Tonneau Covers if the rolled-up tonneau cover is less than 6” high
No. Driving with the tent mounted to your vehicle may cause personal injury and/or damage to your tent and truck.
Railings will work as long as they are less than 3” tall. Roll and sports bars must be removed.
Yes. We recommend placing the tent over the toolbox to minimize the amount of water that could enter between the box and the tent. It is also recommended to cover the corners of the toolbox to protect the tent from ripping on sharp edges. Please note that you will lose the amount of space that the toolbox occupies.
As long as the back rack does not intrude onto the rails of the truck too far, it should not impact the functionality of the tent. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with a photo or the exact model of your back rack to determine if the rack is compatible.
Our tents already have a water-resistant coating on them. However, the coating may wear down over time and you may want to spray a water repellent coating onto the tent and rainfly after a few years of use. For additional protection and product maintenance, you may wish to use a seam sealant on your tent.

I absolutely love this tent! We’ve used it camping up in the North woods of New Hampshire, 3 times now. It has not failed us yet! We bought an inflatable bed that goes over the wheel wells and it fits perfectly inside this tent. I have yet to see anyone else have a truck tent out camping and i love the attention i get on mine! Takes two people to set up this tent and a little practice, but by the 3rd time it will be a breeze! I HIGHLY SUGGEST that you MARK EACH OF THE POLES as to where they go.. as some of the colors are very dark and could be mistaken for another.September 4, 2018

This was the best investment I’ve made in my pick up, it fits perfect in every aspect and works really really good with the air bed mattress that I bought for the truck I would recommend this purchase for anyone looking for a truck tentJanuary 10, 2018
This tent was not hard to put together (unlike most tents). My favorite part about it is the high ceiling and the awning. My advice would be to get an air mattress for inside the bed for comfort. No complaints with this tent and has all the features you need!December 18, 2017
I purchased the tent last month in preparation for the upcoming hunting seasons. I was amazed for the price what a quality product this is and how easy it is to assemble. It fit perfectly in my truck bed and I would highly recommend this for anyone in the market for this type of tent.December 18, 2017
This dome tent is the perfect hunting or fishing set-up. It is easy to pop up and it has a rain cover, which I really needed on this trip. And it even has a porch roof. This is a way overdue addition to may hunting/camping process.December 11, 2017
Used the truck tent this past weekend while camping. It was easy to set up and worked out perfectly well. Used an air mattress inside the tent and slept well :).August 23, 2017
Awesome tent Easy to set up Great quality materialAugust 23, 2017
Plan was to retrofit this into a 4×8 utility trailer with 16″ sides and with a bit of trailer manipulation it seems to be working well as planned.June 21, 2017
I joined an RV club to use my sportz tent. I’m alone and feel secure with a group. I love this tent! The ease of setting it up is a large factor. The total space in the truck bed is enclosed by the tent, no creepy crawlers invited. The door plus 3 large screen covered windows make circulation of air great! Plus I can put my small dogs in the back seat of the truck, still have access to them, and I don’t Have to sleep with them. Perfect for a 68 yr. old widow who likes to camp!June 21, 2017
Set up takes a little while the FIRST time, with instructions attached to the bag.June 21, 2017
I had to make a last minute overnight trip right after I got the tent, so decided to make use of it. I had to set it up in the dark the first time, but it actually went up fairly easily, and I was alone at the time. A little difficult to find the pockets in the dark, but overall, I was very pleased. The only real issue I had was my Bed rug that extends onto the tailgate. Because of the straps that wrap around the tailgate, I had to pull the Bed rug off the tailgate and fold it into the bed.June 5, 2017
