Yes! The Backroadz Link is compatible with both Sportz and Backroadz Truck Tents

Our tents already have a water-resistant coating on them. However, the coating may wear down over time and you may want to spray a water repellent coating onto the tent and rainfly after a few years of use.

A seam sealer is not necessary. Our rainflies and truck tent floors have taped seams to guard against water entry. For additional protection and product maintenance, you may wish to use a seam sealant on your tent. Please note that water drops through the needle holes along the seams is common with all tents and is not a manufacturer’s defect.

Good, with one design flaw

We have had the Napier Truck tent for a couple years now and really enjoy it! So when we saw this link tent we were really excited! It makes SO much more room for storage, place to sit when the weather is bad or the bugs are bad, and it's nice to be able to get in and out of our bed in the back of the truck in an enclosed space. However there is a slight design flaw. The "sleeve" that attaches the link tent to the truck tent does not have a rain fly. Plus, it's not taught so the rain pools on the material and leakes through! Camping our first time with the tent was a rainy weekend. we stayed dry in the truck tent, but woke up to PUDDLES of water in the link tent! Our son who went camping with us, had the Napier SUV tent, and he had the same issue. It was not possible to get the material tight enough to not hold the rain (and then have it leak through). If the rain fly was able to cover this area it would be next to perfect... but for us, next time we go camping there will be a tarp over this section of the tent. Advice to those wanting to purchase, get a tarp as well.

Great Purchase

This has been a great purchase. Having both of the tents has created so much room and comfortable area to camp in. Great product ad fits my Dodge PU perfectly..
