Our SUV Tents are designed with a universal vehicle sleeve to accommodate all CUV’s, SUV’s, and minivans for a custom fit.

The universal vehicle sleeve has an elastic band at the end creating a custom fit to your vehicle. The adjustable wheel well and trunk straps ensure a snug fit to your vehicle and the fabric flaps on the inside of the sleeve help seal any minor gaps caused by a curvy vehicle.

Yes. For the initial set-up however, we do recommend having assistance.

Yes. To ensure the best fit possible, we recommend our larger SUV Tents (82000, 84000, 13100, and 19100).

Yes. As long as the height from the ground to the highest point of the cap window/door does not exceed 80”, SUV Tents are compatible.

Yes, as long as the circumference of the trailer opening does not exceed 210”.

Our tents already have a water-resistant coating on them. However, the coating may wear down over time and you may want to spray a water repellent coating onto the tent and rainfly after a few years of use.

A seam sealer is not necessary. Our rainflies and truck tent floors have taped seams to guard against water entry. For additional protection and product maintenance, you may wish to use a seam sealant on your tent. Please note that water drops through the needle holes along the seams is common with all tents and is not a manufacturer’s defect.

There is a one-year manufacturer defect warranty. Please consult the Warranty section on the website.

Ouverture de la porte parfait Grande fenêtre.
Je recommande d être 2 personnes pour la monté en moins de 5 mins c était fait.
La toile du plancher est normal d une tente mais nous allons acheter une bâche pour le protéger du sol qui sont pas toujours parfait.

Pour ce qui de l installation sur notre véhicule ça va se faire cette été on doit attendre de la neige fonds d autres commentaires et photos a suivre

good quality and versatile

I have been using this tent for 3 years in many different trips. Nice and handy! I have used it both attached to my car and solo standing. no complaints. On my last camping though one of the sticks broke. Can I buy another one? My tent still looks great!

I love my Backroads tent! Loads of space and easy access to my cargo area of my Jeep. I am the envy of my camp mates!

We needed a new tent for car camping as the popup tent we previously had been using had reached the end of its useful life. We had no idea tents specifically made to attach to a SUV existed, found this one, and took a chance that it would work with our RAM Promaster City van. We did our initial backyard test setup today and it went well. It fits very nicely on the van even with the swing out doors versus the typical lift gate, attached easily to the roof rack and wheels, and gives far more useable and stand up space than we had in the past. We were a little concerned when only the first hoop was in place as the wind was blowing it sideways but worked it out. Less than 30 minutes for the first time setup seemed pretty good and no serious problems getting everything in place. Two weeks of field testing next month in state and national forest campgrounds but so far it seems like a great solution for our camping style.
