I was thrilled to find this older Klean Kanteen model at Napier, as I’ve been looking everywhere for it. In all honestly, this is the best thermos that was out there on the market, and if Klean K would have not made the mistake to advertise their coffee lid as leak proof they would still be No. 1 (in my humble opinion the new Stanley models don’t even come close). The loop cap that the thermos comes with is fully leak proof, I leave mine in my backpack and all is ok, zero issues. I also love the fact that with this loop lid, the hot beverage does not touch plastic, as the inside of the lid is stainless steel. Not to mention this does an amazing job of keeping drinks hot and cold (even ice cubes take hours to melt). Napier shipped the item asap and I could not be happier with their service.
